Can I bring a date?
We’re so excited to celebrate with you! Due to limited space, we’re only able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitation. Thank you for understanding!
Are kids allowed?
Kids are welcome! Just a heads up — there will be drinks, joints, and a laid-back vibe throughout the night. Totally understand if you’d prefer a kid-free evening!
Is there parking at the location?
We unfortunately don’t have the lawn space to accommodate 100+ guests and their vehicles, but the Chinese Bible Church across the street has graciously agreed to let us use their parking lot! It is a short distance walk but we will be providing some sort of shuttling back and forth.
What’s the dress code?
Anywhere between black tie and semi-formal/cocktail attire! We don’t mind how fancy you are, as long as it’s not cargo shorts and crop tops!
Will the ceremony be outside?
Yes! Weather permitting, we’ll say “I do” in the garden, and have a reception tent. Please wear appropriate shoes for grass or uneven ground.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes. The ceremony and reception spaces are fully accessible. Please let us know if you or a guest needs special assistance.
What’s the weather like that time of year?
September in Michigan tends to be pretty warm during the day and cooler at night. We recommend bringing a jacket or wrap for later in the evening.
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
We’re doing an unplugged ceremony! We’d love for you to be fully present and let our photographer capture the magic. But snap away all night at the reception! We’d love to get any pictures you get from the night!
Will there be dancing/entertainment?
Absolutely. Come ready to dance the night away with us! There will be a DJ and a few fun surprises.
Will alcohol be served?
Yes. We’ll have an open bar with beer, wine, and signature cocktails all evening long.
