Will you be attending?
Will you be bringing a guest?
Are you interested in getting a tattoo at the wedding?

*Flash designs (approx. 2-5 inches) will be available to view in August. Tattoos will be first come, first served - this helps us plan but does not guarantee a spot*

Please choose "Maybe" if you'd prefer to see the flash designs before making a final decision.

*You can revisit the RSVP again later if you'd like to update your tattoo selection.*

FAQ

  • Questions about tattoos?
Tattoo’s will be free to whoever wants one, though we will also have a tip jar available to tip the artists for their work. Tattoo’s will be limited to designs on the flash sheets (we will have them to view soon), no custom work. There will be 20+ designs to choose from, and most will not be wedding or love themed, though there will be some. We will also have temporary versions of the flash designs for those who do not want a permanent one or whos kids might want to join the fun too!
  • Are kids allowed?
Kids are welcome! Just a heads up — there will be drinks, joints, and a laid-back vibe throughout the night. Totally understand if you’d prefer a kid-free evening!
  • Is there parking at the location?
We unfortunately don’t have enough lawn space to accommodate 100+ guest vehicles. Thankfully, the Chinese Bible Church across the street has graciously allowed us use their parking lot! It’s only a short walk away, but we will also have a shuttle available to bring guests to and from the house throughout the evening. The churches address is 28111 W 10 Mile Rd, Farmington Hills, MI 48336
  • Are there hotel block options?
We have a hotel block at The Hilton Garden Inn in Southfield – about 5-10 minutes from the house. Click here to book a room.
  • What’s the dress code?
Anywhere between black tie and semi-formal/cocktail attire! We don’t mind how fancy you are, as long as it’s not cargo shorts and crop tops!
  • Will the ceremony be outside?
Yes! Weather permitting, we’ll say “I do” in the garden, and have a reception tent. Please wear appropriate shoes for grass or uneven ground.
  • Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Unfortunately, the ceremony and reception spaces are not fully accessible. Please let us know if you or a guest needs special assistance.
  • What’s the weather like that time of year?
September in Michigan tends to be pretty warm during the day and cooler at night. We recommend bringing a jacket or wrap for later in the evening.
  • Can I take photos during the ceremony?
We’re doing an unplugged ceremony! We kindly ask that you keep phones and cameras tucked away during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present while our photographer captures the moment. Once the ceremony is over, we’d love for you to take photos throughout cocktail hour and the reception! We’ll also have a QR code available where you can upload your favorite snapshots to our shared Google photo album so everyone can enjoy the memories after the celebration.
  • Will there be dancing/entertainment?
Absolutely. Come ready to dance the night away with us! There will be a DJ and a few fun surprises.
  • Will alcohol be served?
Yes. We’ll have an open bar with beer, wine, and signature cocktails all evening long.
  • Who should I contact if I have a question?
Please reach out to our wedding email alexxcolinmackenzie@gmail.com
